Two best friends who are disabled, neuro-awesome, and notoriously quirky are co-editing an anthology together. Learn more about the editors of Nothing Without Us!
Cait “Pinky” Gordon
Cait (pronounced like ‘cat’) Gordon is a chronic baker living in the ‘burbs of Ottawa who happens to love arranging the alphabet. She worked for over two decades as a technical writer-editor, then channelled her love for words into creative writing.
For her day job, Cait is a freelance editor. Some of the works she’s edited include Confessions of a Mad Mooer: Postnatal Depression Sucks (Robin Elizabeth), Camp Follower: One Army Brat’s Story (Michele Sabad), Skylark (S.M. Carrière), Little Yellow Magnet (Jamieson Wolf), and Moonshadow’s Guardian (Dianna Gunn).
As for her own writing, Cait’s ’Cosm series books so far are Life in the ’Cosm (Renaissance) and The Stealth Lovers (submitted). Her short story, A Night at the Rabbit Hole, appears in the Alice Unbound: Beyond Wonderland anthology (Coleen Anderson, Exile Editions). Another short story, The Hilltop Gathering, will appear in the upcoming We Shall Be Monsters anthology (Derek Newman-Stille, Renaissance).
This human identifies as a Spoonie warrior, manages invisible and visible disabilities, has a brain that doesn’t always brain as expected, and uses a rollator with flame decals on it named Noola. (The flames make her look like she’s moving super fast.)
You can follow Cait on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. She also has an author website and is the creator/editor of the Spoonie Authors Network. To discover more about her editing services, visit the Dynamic Canvas Inc. website!
